Got my FREE 700r4 today!!

One of my mechanic friends here in town has two 80's Caprice's on the side of his shop. One's an 87 and the other is an old cop car with the 350 roller in it. Well, the 87's motor is locked up so he hooked up his tow truck to it and pulled it around to one of his bays and we yanked it out. After we pulled it out I asked him what I owed him and he told me nothing. I told him I would at least give him the TH350 in my truck when I get it out. He let me have the driveshaft, converter, and all. I even grabbed the flip down license plate mechanism in case I ever do a hidden hitch.

I immediatley brought it over to the tranny shop to have it rebuilt. I know about the 700r4 FAQ so I will try not to ask anything that I can't get answered in that thread. One question I did have is could I use the driveshaft out of the caprice. Only reason I ask is that I could go ahead and take it to a shop and have it cut.
