lowered my truck, with an engine!

well i figured i'd drop the completed engine into the truck with the tranny. it's a gm 350 crate from a 77 c10 with low miles and a th350. extras include a performer intake, rebuilt carb, hedman long tube headers, HEI, mickey thompson valve covers, and paint all over.

poof

it's magic!

and it did lower the front of the truck an inch. it will go down another inch when all the body panels and bumper/brackets go on.

is it just me or are 67-72 small block mounts a real pain to slide an engine into? i was going to use the 73-87 style, but i found my 67-72's and saved my power steering setup as well as saved myself from drilling new tranny crossmember holes when the tranny moves back an inch.
