need help sealing valve covers...

i've got vortec heads and i'm using those adapters out of the summit catalog to run older style perimeter bolt valve covers. i think they are by trick flow... is anybody else running these? i cant seem to get them to seal. i have a steady but slow oil leak... thanks for any input
