Identifying Engine

Where is the engine block number and how do you decode it to know what size motor you have. I have a 454 I'm getting ready to drop in my 67 and I'm trying to sell the running small-block out of it right now. I was told it was a 350 by the guy I bought it from, I just don't want to advertise it as a 350 when it might actually be something else.

Just out of curiousity, I wouldn't mind running the numbers on the BB too.

How bad would that suck if both motors didn't turn out to be what they were said to be.

We'll see

Thanks
