wet floor

hello,
i have `86 gmc 4+4. my floor board is wet on both sides under my rubber mat.
i told my brother about my problem and he said his didnt leak {he has the same year truck too} and we pulled back his floor covering and his floor is wet too. the insulation is soaking wet.
at the same time we was checking out our trucks a friend of ours pulls up in a `87 2wd chevy we checked his out and whoola
its wet too.
so my question is were the heck is this water coming in at?
my rubber on my doors are in really good shape,windsheild does not leak. floor has no holes in it{yet}
is this a common problem for gmc`s ?
all 3 trucks have the same problem. i was wondering about the pull vent on the side panel. maybe leaking.
i have not a clue were the water is coming from.
any comments would be great.
thanks in advance,vmax.
