what to do?

i am getting ready to start my first frame off project on my 80 c-10.

im thinking of boxing in the frame rails but have heard that you should not weld on the frame. i have heard it a few times around on the board and do not want to compromise the structural integrity of my frame.

has anyone else done this with their frame?

if available, could some post a couple of pics of their box jobs so i can get a good idea of what to do.

thanks
steve

here is a pic from 3 weeks ago. i now have the front xmember out as well as the engine and trans.
i hope to have the rear axle and cab of by the end of the month so i can start on my frame.
