2x4 or 4x4 that is the question

ok so here is the deal.my 69 k10 cab has seen better days.it need new floor pans, cab corners, the dash has a hole in it and the firewall is rusted bad.
I have two other cabs to choose from a 69 c10 and a 71 c10 with ac.both of those are 2x4.both of those just need cab corners.would it be easier to use the 71 ac cab (planning on putting ac in k10 when done) and build the high hump or try to redo 69 k10.what is involved in building the large tranny hump?
