2006 Silverado trailer light problem

I took delivery of a 2006 Silverado 2 months ago. It is a 1/2 ton with the trailering option. I pulled a car trailer last week with no problems. On Thursday I hooked up to the trailer and went and got gas, all of the lights were working fine. Friday night my park lights wouldn't work on the trailer. I have blinkers and stop lamps.
I do not have power for the park lights coming out of the plug on the pickup. The park lights on the pickup do work.
Does anyone have any ideas? Is this covered under warranty? I would assume it is.
