Into the deep end...

Well, here it is. I picked it up 2 weeks ago off a guy who had it sitting around - body is very straight, has only surface rust. It's a '71 K20.

In the glovebox I found the original sales receipt, owner's manual with the salesman's business card stapled to it (it was originally sold in West Covina, CA), original warranty papers, etc.

I've already got it stripped to little pieces, and I dropped the frame off at the powdercoat shop yesterday. My goal is to get it lookin' good by my wedding on 24 June this year. If I pull it off it'll be a 100-day build.

Plans:
TBI 454 from a '95 1-ton (already own it, need to get it from Oregon)
TH400 + NP205 (need the tranny)
3.73 14BFF rear, 44 front (have 'em - already converted rear to discs)
4" lift - ORD Shackle Flip rear, front springs
