A step for my short fleetside(not about beds)
I took a step on my`72 Custom/10 short fleet 2 option truck(gauges & stabilizer)which has sat with an engine crane hooked to the 250 for one year now.Actually,I`ve unhooked it twice to use then put it back.Well,it`s not about that either....
I bought a set of 8x15 5-lug OEM-types from Uncle last year.I finally dropped them off yesterday to be powdercoated red after blasting them the night before. The plan is to run the full wheelcovers and narrow whitewalls in a low/wide tire from Diamondback Classics, lower the truck some,4spd M20,3.40 posi, flat white/blue interior, fit the snap-on white tonneau cover from my old CustomCamper(old/`88 but still in goodshape),and SS454 tips. This is a budget/resto rod, except not resto-ed. I`ll post pictures when I get the wheels back.
