Need some math help

I have a inground pool that I am planning on filling with fill dirt. Can someone help verify Im on the right track?

Pool is rectangular 40' long. 20' wide. 3'-8' deep 50/50% split. I calculated 27700 gallons, and came up with about 138 cubic yards of fill. I figure ten yards
per dump truck load, and would need 14 truck loads????? Seems like too much to me.

Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
