Re: free advice needed: fuel pump

Sounds like rust is blocking the sock(nylon cloth filter) in the fuel tank.
edit: or could be evap is not venting to tank causing a vacuum in the tank. When this happens take the fuel cap of (BE CAREFUL) do you here air rushing into the tank, Possible see fuel flying out. That would be a blocked vent line. 72 half a 3/4 tons had evap vent system 1 tons had a vented cap and no evap.
