Hi There,
Found this forum after weeks of searching for somewhere on info for 69 Burb. Great to be here at last ![]() As the title says Im accross the pond in the UK! And parts are somewhat completly non existent LOL Well what do I have? Its a 69 Burb long wheelbase Custom 20 8/350 with 4 speed manual. Pretty much standard at present but Im putting a Getrag 5 speed on the back of the 350, going to swap in some air-bags (will need advice on this soon so whatch out for the questions to start) then depending on funds swap in some 20" wheels. I want to stay with the 8 stud option I have now so when winter comes again (has it left??....dont feel like it!) I hav put the old steels back on as the use copius ammounts of salt on the roads here that eats nice wheels in a month or so. Im just desperate for a replacement lift gate (Isnt everyone!) as mine is shot. Also converting it to dual fuel with a LP-gas conversion that I picked up for $150 as gas here is now about $7 a gallon! ![]() Any way, Im also building a steel 32 Pick-up with 55 Buick nailhead. For pics of the burb & the rod have a peek here . http://community.webshots.com/user/englishrodder Burb pics are in the 69 Burb album, and the new rod is in the Speedshop album.
