feed them after dark, they multiply

from left to right this is my back yard. the first 3 are my dads.

the first is a 72 3/4 ton cab on a 72 k/5 blazer chassi. it is a trazer but not perminatly. eventurally it will become a blazer. anyways, it has an .80 over 250 inline 6, sm465 tranny, 205 transfer. this little truck is just thrown todeather to keep pieces togeather and in running condition. when money is availble to get new sheetmetal, the blazer will live again.

next is an 83 k35. its got all the good stuff. dana 60, 14 bold 4 bolt main 350, headers, dump bed, the works. this trucks frame has been spliced just behind the cab with a frame from a c-30. its as stong as new and much better than the rotted back half that was on it. the frame rot is from the sander/salter that use to be on it back in the day when it was a town truck for prinston Mass. it has the 9ft high way plow. 6 full lenght springs in the frount to hold the massive plow up. the frame is as strong as ever, it carries almost 3 tons of gravil quite often. this truck is a work beast. with the 4.56 gears it will pull anything.

then comes in the 69 c-30 wrecker. this has a 350 four parrel and headers. the wrecker body is a twin cable holms 500. with a 10 ton winches, this monster will snap trees like tooth picks. sometime soon, it will be come four wheel drive. theres a set of eaten axles with 5.13s just waiting to be thrown under. with about 60,000 original miles everything is tight and in good working order exept the sheetmetal. it is flinston style and in need of major body work. who knows if the blazer ever gets built then the gold cab will have a new home.

well thats my dads collection

the last one is a 71 c-10 on a 72 k5 blazer chassi. this ones staying a trazer/ blazer pickup what have you. it has a 79 350 4 bolt main out of a c-30. it has headersand a 4 barrel carb. its in the prosses of getting hydroboost brakes. it has a 4 inch lift with 33x12.5 good year muddterrains. out back is a 12 bolt possi, up front is a dana 44 that might get a lockright locker. it has the sm465 4 speed the 205 transfer. the home maid step side bed is going to be replaced with a shortend fleetside. the fire wall around the distributer has been moved back about an 1-1 1/2 just for some extra clearence for the distrubiter and to get at the bell housing bolts easier. not needed but being able to put a wrench on the top bell housing bolts is much better than a flex socket and 4 feet of extentions. what else could a 16 year old ask for in his first truck.
