'85 GMC 350 bogging problems!!

Hi all...this is my first post here, i just registered.

As if you couldn't tell, I'm a mustang guy, but I love chevy trucks!!

Anyways,

Last night, I looked at an '85 gmc 1/2 ton 4x4. it has a 350 in it and about the only real mechanical problem it has is when it gets warm, it boggs out and wants to die when you take off from a stop sign or light. I'm a mustang guy experienced with engine building and fuel injection. I haven't touched carbs for a few years, but I"m thinking possibly the choke is stuck or a vaccuum problem, but I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

I put $$$$ down on it to hold it until I can see if I get approved for the loan or not, but I just want a heads up as to what might be wrong. I"m great with cars, so fixing the problems isn't a big deal for me..just wondering what is going on.
