Cowl Scoop Install

After a few weekends of fabricating, the metal cowl scoop is attached. I used a two part epoxy adhesive designed for metal with large head sheet metal screws to hold it down. I will grind the heads off next weekend and begin the body work to blend the scoop edges into the hood. Welded the front tip to the hood. After a lot of head scratching we chose to flatten the front point of the hood rather than try to notch the scoop to fit over the center rib of the hood. I will post a few pictures of that if any of you are interested. If I had to pay to have this done it would have been cheaper to buy a cowl hood but with a little help it cost about 1/4 of a new hood. Enjoy the pictures.
