What should I do with this truck?

Hopefully I'm putting this in the right forum. I'm not looking to *sell* anything in this ad, but that may be what it comes down to, so I wanted to make sure to get a subscription beforehand, just in case.

Well I seem to have finally collected enough parts to start my project. I actually picked up a whole truck I don't technically *need.*

So, yeah, what should I do with this truck?

It's a '68 long step, 250-6 three on the tree. No options at all except for the factory AM radio that doesn't work. It doesn't even have arm rests.

146k original miles, I believe. Needs a bit of brake work, a carrier bearing, and a carb rebuild. Otherwise it runs fine; I drove it 20 miles from the former owner's house to mine. He said, up until a year or two ago, he used it as a daily driver.

He got it from the son of the original owner with the intentions of restoring it. He never got that far, and he just wanted it gone. I went thinking I could get a good parts truck, and yes, it would be a great parts truck. The front clip is completely solid with just light surface rust on the passenger's wheel well and radiator support. No holes. Same with the fenders. Doors are a bit nasty, but very fixable and very solid. One small hole in the passenger's side floor, and in one of the rockers. The step bed is wood, and of course it's shot. Somebody put a diamondplate steel floor in it. The bed's rusting around the edges of that floor. Other than that the tailgate, fender flares, steps, etcetera are all soliid.

Thing is, I think the truck is too nice to use as parts. So I'm thinking about selling it. I'd hate to part it out just for the front clip I need, but I do need a solid front clip.

Pictures can be seen at http://www.drakkolupen.com/cars/68truckpics/ .. most of them are of a green truck, which is the truck in question. Take a peek; I've got good photos of the problem areas.

Tell me what you guys think? Scrap it or sell/ trade it?
