Add-A-Leaf Experience

My`72 Highlander Came to me with Add-A-Leafs.It sits nice,a bit higher than stock. When I got it I noticed one rear leaf had broken in 1/2 and 1/2 was missing.I`ve seen broken leafs,no big deal.I thinkit was the first time I went to town in it.As I went over a manhole cover I heard a clank and jangle.I stop and run back to see what it was,a 1/2 of a leaf.I threw it in and figured it was the other 1/2 of the broken one.It was from the other side.Today,I got started unbolting to install the 6" lift I`ve had for it(4 spring packs).I started on the front. After un-bolting the u-bolts,I noticed the springs were kinked over the axle.Well, one side had a leaf broke in two.It got dark, but I wonder if the fourth spring pack has a broken leaf as well.I admit, the springs were probably pretty fatigued when the Add-A-Leafs were installed.
