Windshield installation
Ok I got my old '67 windshield out, rubber was so hard I had to cut the seal to get it out. I have my new rubber seal and the jam is repainted. So how do I get the glass in. Mine has the chrome trim ring. Do I put the trim on first? I recall seeing one installed years ago with a rope in the groove they pulled out as the seal edge slipped over the edge of the windshield.
