You guys make me feel right at home !!
I MUST share a story w/ you all.
For about a year I lived in OK City. I made a few friends and, amoungst them, I was the Mechanic of the bunch. One day while trying to set the timing (no light of course)on a buddies truck, I directed my new found understudy to "tap the ignition" as I searched for top dead center on #1 cyl. Well man I tell you it was HARD to see down in that little plug hole! What I needed was a "probe" hummmmm? Screwdriver !
After depositting about one inch of the screwdriver into the guys cylinder, I "decided" that he needs to get a timing light.
I, honest to God, moved back to Missouri that weekend. Not because of that, just changed jobs. And NO, I never told the guy what happened, just stuck the screwdriver back in his toolbox and left!
What an ASS !!!!
BTW sorry Dennis !!
