More Progress
Well, got to spend some time with the 70 today. Put some purt-ees on the engine. My valve covers came in yesterday, so I put in the studs and hooked them up with the breather this morning.
Then I painted my headers. It may not last long, but they will look good till it runs a bit. I'll have to make due with these headers until the money starts rolling in Then I broke out the welder and started working on welding up the firewall. Made some patches for the heater box openings, then proceeded to put my rusty welding skills to work again. Dang I wish the welding would move faster on sheet metl, but gotta go slow so not to warp things. Anyways, I got a bunch of little holes welded up and gthe fill plates in. Need to go back and tack a few more places in and then I can start on the blower hole and clutch rod hole. Now on to the hunny do list , maybe I'll get to play more tomorrow.
