Re: grrr, valve cover leaking oil

Leaky valve covers have been a small black issue since 55' but no amount of gaskets or sealer on the gaskets will help if the intake bolts have no sealer on them. You could get both oil and antifreeze coming up them holes which will drive you nuts. SEAL-em first then see what you have.
My experience has been best with cork valve cover gaskets but the install is more critical then the material. The 88-98 350's with injection are also notorious for intake gasket leaks which are a bugger to replace so just be aware~~~.
