opinions please??

hey guys, long time lurker here. i've come to a cross roads in my project.

its a '69 K20, getting a '67 front clip.

however, the front axle is a wee bit messed up. leafs at the wrong angle, a shackle being bent. along with the front driveshaft needing a new CV, and needing new tie rod ends. along with brakes, etc.

so, this is where i began thinking.

should i swap out a 2wd frame?

i have a '67 1/2 ton, and a '68 3/4 ton for frames.

right now my project only consists of a running gears, rad support, and cab on frame. so, it wouldn't exactley be a terribly hard swap.

could i get some opinions please? this is just a hair brained idea that i ran past my dad, and i'd like some extra input.

thanks!

.sam.
