Question popping in exhaust

I have just rebuilt a chev 350 ,I have put in roller rockers and 202 heads and some old headers.when I start the truck it runs for a few minutes then starts to pop and will do this untill it gets to about 160 degs.but not all the time.
any one out there have this problem ???
