The old rustbucket is getting a new cab!
Got the cab(no roof lights ), doors, fenders, and hood painted for the old truck. Some of y'all will probably choke when you read how much it cost just to fix a LITTLE rust, and paint that stuff.............$3000!!!!!!! I told Dad he's off his dam rocker but oh well, he paid for it!!! I think he's gonna be in dept once all of this is over. Monday we're swapping the cabs and I will have the truck reassembled by Wednesday. I'll still be using the 71-72 grille and bumper since Grandpaw says it looks better. It has all new seals/weatherstrip on the cab and doors. Oh yeah, that's another thing pissed me off. Dad went and got the windshield guy to use standard no-trim weatherstrip, when there's perfectly good trim already on the truck I could've taken off. I'll take a bunch of pictures of the progress. Even though it ain't what I was shooting for it's still gonna look cool!
