electrical gremlin

i posted another thread on this problem when i thought it was my starter. now i know i have a short somewhere. my problem started immediately after i accidentally reversed polarity. everytime i think i fixed it, my battery is completely drained the next day. i have troubleshot and eliminated the alternator and my voltage regulator circuit. i plan on pulling fuses tomorrow to try to find the circuit. if anyone can think of a weak link i should start with i'd appreciate it. i really hope i dont have to go into my steering column. i have several complete wire harness' for my truck. i wonder if it will just be easier to replace all of my wires?
