Question on Brake ID - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I own a 1983 Chevy C10 pickup with a 6.2 diesel and need to know how to ID the brake system that is in ita As right now I do not have any brakes that work. Every part store that I go to ask me what brake system I have. They say there is a tag in the engine compartment or on the glove box door that tells you. I can not find any tag or information anywhere that says which system I have. I do know that I have a Hydro Booster on it and so I am turning to you folks for help. Thank You in advance for the help.
