Hacked up my 1st gen K5... (lots o pics)

Greetings.
Here's some pictures of my dual purpose '72 K5.
I bought it back in January 1999, and it was a very clean K5, maybe one small dent and a few little bubbles of rust.
Since then I replaced all the running gear, started wheeling it harder and harder, flopped it on its passanger side, ran numerous trails and had the dents to prove it, Even tank trap and Rubicon.
Sure it was sad to see my cherry first gen getting smashed up but i was slowly collecting the replacement body panels, and when it came time to put them on i wanted to make them removeable so i can still drive it as a real nice K5 around town, or run the hardest of trails without the body.

What you see here is the transformation my k5 has undergone at Pacific Fabrication in Morgan Hill, CA. "If you can dream it, we can build it."

Not only do the bedsides come off, the front clip is now one piece, retains a few of the factory bolts on the cowl and has custom supports up front (in place of the core support) that makes for quick removal before the extreme trails.
