Suburban Fuel Line Replace ?

Needing some info on replacing the fuel lines on my '91 4WD Suburban, 350 TBI with 4 spd auto trans. Wife came home today from work and as she was backing into the garage I could smell a fuel odor. Crawling under the 'Burb I found that two bee-nut connected braided fuel lines had chafed thru the braiding where they had been rubbing against a tranny brace. They lead from the passenger side frame at the fuel filter up along the right side of the block to the back of the TBI unit. Will call my wife's cousin in the morning, hopefully they are in stock, (he works at a GM dealership, kinda handy at times.)

Any one care to give some heads up info on changing these two lines? Any precautions or troublesome areas, never ventured into these lines before. Pretty staight forward, just and remove and replace situation? After the fix I plan on wrapping some rubber hose and a couple zip ties to heal this problem in the future. Also will replace the fuel filter which I know is up the line from the problem but it's about time to replace it anyway.

Any help or info would be much appreciated.
