Amp Gauge ? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm trying to get my factory amp gauge to work. I've tried 2 different factory gauges, and no luck. I have did a continuity check on the circuit from the battery junction block to the dash panel plug (both fuses are good). All checks out good. I have a constant 12 volts into the gauge and out the other side of the gauge whether the engine is running or not. Is this supposed to have constant 12 volts there? Does anyone know what the ohm readings are supposed to be across the amp gauge terminals?

Any other ideas?

Oh, I did rewire my alternator for a internal regulator per FAQ on here. Charging system is working fine.
