Front brake cylinder removal

goin thru the brakes on my 69' C-10 Stepside with front drum
brakes, the rear cylinders are attached with 2 small bolts from
the backside, however the front cylinders have a 1 1/8" inch
nut /stud where the main springs on the shoes attach to, see
picture, can't budge it, even tried an air wrench, any suggestions?
was thinking of heating it up with a torch.

Thanks
Mark
