Wheel and Backspacing Facts 20"

Hello all,

I know have already have some posts regarding wheels and suspension, and
that there are sevral old ones also.

I just wanted to get a few quick facts in this thread.

Can anyone pls give me the facts (with pics if possible) of the correct/available wheel backspacing on a 71 or 72 stock frame with the early classic 4/6 drop kit and 20" wheels. 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear. Does it make a difference if the front wheel is a 20x8?

Right now I am considering 20x8.5 (265/45R20) fronts
20x10 (295/40R20) rears

IN other words...
What is the best backspacing and tire size when running 20x8.5 front wheels and 20x10 rears? I want wide wheels in the rear and a good size up front with out any clearance/rubbing issues. Also don't want the fronts to stick out or the rears to sit too far in. PLs post pics of your ride with details. Especially pics looking up the side from the front or rear.

Thanks
