Caddy Swap update! (finally)

Well, I was able to make a little headroom today. Since the new place came up, I haven't even been able to untarp it, but today, i figured there was a few things I could do with out any cash on hand, so here is how it went;
I started by altering the motor mount towers for the funny Caddy motor mounts...

I actually had to hog out both of the holes...one V8 hole. and one inline hole. I was using a 5/8 inch drill bit.

For lack of better tools, this is how I had to join the 2 holes together.

I had to use a small spacer on the drivers side, mostly to make the angles right, but I wanted to move it over a bit too.

You can see, I still need to beat on this frame rail a little, and the towers are not bolted in yet, but it is sitting there with no hoist.

The engine is quite a bit higher than I had first thought it would be...which is a good thing. Look at the pan clearance!

I was kinda scared about this...but it all looks pretty good to me. I added plug wires, and even without the looms, they have plenty of room.

And here is why I like the added height...PLENTY of room now. Also, instead of rerouting my brake lines, now I only need to slightly move them.
