Longhorn tear down

It begins again!
pulled the front clip off my 71 longhorn Saturday and pulled the cab today.
This truck has bad rockers and corners and alittle on outside edge of the floor front and back.
Is there a special way to cut out these pieces?
I tried eariler on an old cab I had and it was a nightmare!
Last time I tried this I literally riped the the floor to pieces trying to remove front cab supports.
What is the proper procedure for removing cab supports and rocker panels?
I would like to learn this as I have 5 0r 6 cabs behind the barn in similar condition.
Not so worried about welding the pieces back in but I hate to hack it all up getting the old out.
Thanks for any detailed input
Efabman you out there?
I've seen your work and it is impressive. Or anyone else that has done this first hand.
