Need some advice on a parts truck!

I just got a line on a '69 GMC Fleetside with a clean title (Two Owners!) that started as a frame-off resto and became a pain the back-side. The guy just lost interest in the project.

My question is this: How inter-changeable are the body pieces between the '69 and my '72 C-10 Deluxe Fleetside? Specifically, the doors, bed, and fenders. The rest of the '69, I'll part out.

If I'm committing some form of blasphemy, please don't be too harsh.

Also, I was rebuilding the driveshaft and discovered the rear upper coil spring pockets have started to crack. Any advice on replacing them? And, No, the '69 has leaf springs.

Thanks, Claymore
