Something isn't quite right. Are you sure your tach or speedo is correct? I have a 3.73 rear and at 65 my truck is turning right about 2 grand. With the 3.07 your truck should be turning like 17 or 1800 rpm at that speed. The 3.07 also may be too high of a gear for a 700R4 (even new full size trucks with OD only come with a 3.42 as the highest gear) With gearing that high I'd definately leave your truck in 3rd when driving around town and leave it in 3rd until you at least hit 50 on the highway. How does it fell on the highway? Does it feel sluggish and underpowered?
