bay area, CA shop for GM trucks?

hey all,

so i took my 69 to a generic shop, they are stumped on the engine that won't turn off, and they told me they want $1200 to fix my cracked header and put in a new exhaust on just that side. seems steep to me, considering i paid $2400 for the truck.

i know i heard of a guy in east bay who specializes in old GM trucks, but i can't remember his name/shop.

any recommendations? i would think i could get exhaust manifold and cheapo exaust for a lot less than $1200, am i being cheap or does that seem like to much to pay?

cheers
droo
