marvxyz1 Registered User Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Pittsburgh, Pa Posts: 106	step bumper tow I have a step bumper on the rear of my 1980 GMC Sierra Classic with 6 Cy. automatic. the bumper has the tow hitch ball and holes for the hitch chain. Is it safe to tow a 1000 pound boat and trailer with this setup, or should I spring for a new tow hitch??? Thanks much...
