shift cable verses linkage?
hey guys,
first and formost i did infact search the site/faq"s for 45mins looking but i didin't find what i needed.
ok so i just bought myself a 69 gmc 1/2ton with 3 on the tree and i'm going to convert it to an automatic with a 700r4. "i'm changing the colum to an auto too". Now rather than screw with trying to find and install auto linkages i'd like to use a cable. has anyone done this? if someone has and wouldn't mind sharing a parts list/giving a little how too i would really appreciate it. thanks,
