alternator q need answers ASAP

this question may have been asked before but i couldnt find it in the search, anyway i just swaped a bbl 454 and i have a mean green alternator on it, now i have everything wired up except the alt. because i dont know what to wire it to. so theres one threaded bolt coming out the back.. thats the recharge hook up that goes to the batt. right?? and theres two other wires coming out of it with a connector on the end.. cut the connector off and wire it to what?? im anxious and want to run it, that about the only thing holding me back..
