How smooth do they roll down the road?

ok..
i just spent 6 hours removing the drive shafts cross member and trans..ALL ON MY BACK
69 c-20 350 engine th400 trans LWB
replaced the flex plate, converter, front pump seal, all new bolts,
reinstalled every thing...
i am happy to say it's a heck of a lot smoother..there was a problem with the flex plate or converter.
but it's not perfect
the drive shaft has been balanced, new u-joints, center bearing,

with a 3/4 ton 36 year old truck is this the way they were???
am i expecting to much?

i bought good stuff..
next is the brakes hopefully for the last time
