Damned Oil Leaks
250 I-6
What do I have to do to keep the oil from leaking around the inspection plates on the left and right sides of the engine? I would be better off throwing oil at the outside of my engine than putting any in, that seems to where it ends up anyways. I know about the warping and gasket shift, but I didn't think that it would be a problem since I got new plates and gaskets. This is the third time I have had to get after this same problem. On an unrelated note, how much would it be to rebuild an SM465? I think I am going to keep it and also add a Gear Vendors OD, instead of a 700R4. Let me know what you think... Josh
