Transmission I.d.

guys i've got an 81 chevy pickup with a 350 engine .ok my trans went out and i have a chance at 2 pretty good trans . 1st my trans that i'm taking out ,i think is a 350 .it has a 2 prong plug on the drivers side . now one of the trans that i can purchase has a 4 prong plug and the other doesn't have a plug at all . now my question is i think that the 4 prong plug is probably the closest to my original so how can i convert my 2 prong to the 4 prong ? thanks
