Another new guy just outside Philly

Hi everyone, name's Mike. I'm from Feasterville (just north of Philly, PA), and am in the process of bulding a 69 c10. It already has a '68 front clip. I recently got a stepside bed and a/c dash & components for it, so my current plans include swapping out dashes and whatnot to ad a/c, and shortening the frame to accept the 6' stepside. Alot more to do before it goes back on the road but they're my current plans. I was also thinking about taking off the factory mirrors and putting 4" peepers on the top of the doors, if anyone has these on there truck and has a pic to share so I can get a better idea what it'll look like I'd appreciate it.
