New guy from Olympia Washington

New guy from the PNW.

Just bought a 1979 GMC C-15 1/2 ton pickup from a buddy. Either his ignition switch or his starter solenoid is out but otherwise this is a good running truck with get this:

30K original miles. He drives it five times a year. It was his father in laws truck and he drove it five times a year since new. It looks like it has sat out for 27 years but it runs very well.

He got ticked because it won't start and sold it to me for 150 bucks. It will be a good work truck plus it will be something for my son to drive in a few years when he is 16. When I was 16 my dad tossed me the keys to my first truck, a 70 C10 that had more rust than paint on it. I figure it is time to start a tradition.
