A better heater valve

Here is heater valve off of a 94 gmc safari. When the valve is colsed it lets the water continue to circulate and bypass the heater core. I am planning to use this valve on my trucks. We have a 94 safari and this valve solves the heat problem completely. The a/c doesnt work any more on the van but during the summer you get no heat and in the winter when the valve opens you roast. But if you cant find one at ajunk yard here is the info you will need: 1994 gmc safari, z engine code, a/c, no rear a/c or rear heater heater. Just thought you guys might like a different valve. I found a part number for AC Delco 15-5543. Here are more part numbers.

Tried to look up at carquest but there web site doesnt have a look up tool on the web site
If you go to the store and get one of these make sure it looks like the one in the picture. I tried getting one once and it looked nothing like this.
