Pinion Protection

Ordered a pinion protector from a web site called Performance Off Road Center. (buyer beware)

The web site looks good and they have tons of cool parts at decent prices but that's where the good stuff ends.
They took over two weeks to ship and then in the end, one item (BTF part) had to be drop shipped and took another two weeks.
To boot, they charged me shipping based on 39lbs and the total of everything together was only 14lbs.

So about the pinion protection parts.
It's from Blue Tourch Fab, that I had heard did awesome work but this piece has me wondering.
See for yourself, it came not only unpainted but it wasn't even welded on the out side/exterior of the flange.
That's where it's going to take the abuse.
Eitherway, I took care of it.
Welded and painted, it turned out to be a pretty cool new chunk of iron to hang on my blazer.
