Brought home a burb, fuel question?
Just bought this one, guess i needed it!!!
anyhow, its a 72 with not many options except rear air. The guy i bought it from put 6,000 miles on it since oct 86. Came from OK before that, but minnesota salt has its grip on it now. I have put about 70 miles on it and cleaned it up since these pics. My question is it looks like the gas is draining back from the carb when its shut off. Put a little gas in the carb, it fires up and runs fine. Shut it off and you have to put gas in the carb again. It has a pretty new fuel pump with the third line on it. Any ideas? It has a clear fuel filter in line that i can see the gas drains back out of. Thanks, Eric
