1966 C-10 Headlight and grill mounts

I just recently bought a 1966 Chevy C-10 Shortbed fleetside that just got a new paintjob and such. I'm in the process of reasembling. I was working on the headlight mounts, and only two of the holes on the bracket match those located on the sheetmetal of the truck. I think maybe the guy i bouhgt it from may have moved the hole or something. My question is is there supposed to be three holes for mounting, or were the only two originally. On the right headlight when looking at the truck from the front, the two screws that would fit are the two on the rightmost part of the bracket, one right above the other. Do i need the third one which is located farther toward the center of the truck? Thanks.
