Good news and bad
Just finished a coolant flush and replacement. Replaced the 180 thermostat w/ a 192. I also installed a mechanical temp gauge.
Then I took it for a spin to the store and back. The temp didn't go above 190 and hovered at 180 while driving. So all in all I managed to cool things down by a good 15 degrees on average. One thing tho, I noticed the lower part of the rad was cold when I got back. I guess some of the tubes are plugged. I'm assuming this isn't normal. The rad is only about 3 yrs. old but I guess it needs some maintenance. Is this normal or is my assumption about the rad right?
